Need cordless phone with wireless headset!?

I work from home and would like to be able to use a headset (any kind) so i can talk and type. It would have to be part of a package with a cordless phone, does any one have any ideas? I’ve looked and looked and i’m baffled. I know BT do these phones but not sure if i can have the wireless base downstairs and my office upstairs and it still works, asked someone at BT and they were useless lol! Does anyone have this set up?
Oh and i’m in the uk :)

The Plantronics “Calisto Pro” is the ultimate solution that I have found and use myself. It is pricy though. But, it does what no other phone system does that I have seen.

It’s a combo cordless phone and Blue-tooth wireless headset.
The cordless phone is like using a small cell phone. It clips to your belt or pocket and has a range of up to 300 ft to the base unit.
The wireless Blue-tooth Headset has a 30 ft range to the handset.
So, if you are on different floors of your house and have the handset on your belt or pocket, it will work no problem. The Wireless Headset is then linked to the handset.

As well, the base unit has a USB cable for connecting to your PC. It will now pick-up calls from Skype on your PC, too. I use it with Skype and various other VoIP Softphones on my PC. But, at the click of a button, I can make calls from the PSTN landline from the headset too.

It’s the best of both worlds for talking cordless/wireless on PSTN landline, VoIP phone, or PC VoIP in one package. If you can afford it, and find it in UK, it’s a great system.
