are wired headsets better then wireless?

my dad says that wired headsets are better then wireless. is that true. i thnk that wired is also better cuz the technology isnt that gret yet.
thats not true, that wireless last longer. you waste lots of batteries on wireless and none on wired.

well, I have played games that require alot of communication or alot of action, and during the game, I sometimes accidentally unplug my mic, giving me a dilemma, do I stop playing (AKA DIE) to plug my mic back in, or do i continue playing without the benefit of communication

example: playing SWAT on halo, you NEED communication and you NEED to be moving

wireless don’t have that problem
however, you know that guy you always mute because they have that annoying echo
he’s got a wireless mic

and I can’t verify this, but I THINK the wireless mics don* Cu*** o**ut ********Ever******* Sec**nd
